London RO: Women’s History Month Documentary Screening (In Person – October 5, 2026)

To celebrate Women’s History Month, London Regional Women’s Committee invites you to a documentary screening of Status Quo? The Unfinished Business of Feminism in Canada (2012), directed by Karen Cho and hosted via the National Film Board of Canada.

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming in-person gathering! Please note that this event is exclusively for women-identifying members located in Southwestern Ontario.

About the documentary:

Feminism has shaped the society we live in. But just how far has it brought us, and how relevant is it today? This feature documentary zeroes in on key concerns such as violence against women, access to abortion, and universal childcare, asking how much progress we have truly made on these issues. Rich with archival material and startling contemporary stories, Status Quo? uncovers answers that are provocative and at times shocking.

A quick note: Because dinner is included, catering counts are final. If your plans change after you RSVP and you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our final headcount.
