Greater Toronto Area Council Meeting – Election for Treasurer and PSAC National Convention Delegate and Alternate (November 10, 2026)

Members in Good Standing in the Greater Toronto Area are invited to the Greater Toronto Area Council’s November General Meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30pm on Zoom. No experience necessary! Come join us to discuss, plan events, elect the next PSAC National Convention Delegate and Alternate, and elect the next Treasurer of the Area Council.

Registration is required by 4PM the day before the meeting. Nominations and seconder for the Treasurer position and PSAC National Convention Delegate and Alternate should be submitted in writing to Nicole Wall walln@psac-afpc.com until the day before the meeting. Nominations can also be declared from the floor of the meeting.

Registration for this meeting will close on Monday, November 9th at 4:00 pm.

GTAC Bylaw 6, Section 11 states:

“The PSAC National Triennial Convention delegate and alternate shall be elected at the AGM held within a period of not less than six (6) months prior to the commencement of the Convention. In order to be eligible for election, the individual must be a member in good standing who has represented a Local, Branch, DCL, or regional committee to this Area Council, and have attended at least 50% (fifty percent) of Area Council meetings in the twelve (12) months prior to that meeting.”
