Toronto RO: Convention Preparation (IN PERSON – Saturday, March 21, 2026)

This one-day course will introduce new activists to the purpose and mechanics of a union convention. The “why, what, and how” of conventions are introduced. This workshop is intended for members looking forward to participation as delegates or observers to the PSAC Regional convention, component conventions and union conventions generally. This webinar will focus specifically on the “rules” around resolutions and will strengthen your ability to write effective resolutions
All members in the Toronto Regional Office area in good standing are welcome to register.

Please note that the course is being offered in-person at the Toronto Regional Office.
Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved PSAC policy. The course must be completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued.
Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the course during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.
