WSIB Level 1 – Rights and Obligations
Explore your rights & obligations under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. This 12-hr course is offered over two days and introduces Ontario workers to the Act. Who should attend: Everyone! But especially WSIB representatives, Workers’ Compensation activists, RTW specialists, union leadership and union stewards, H&S representatives and activists, supervisors and employers, young workers.

WSIB Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2

This VIRTUAL course will be delivered as a two day course.  Please read the date and time carefully.
Saturday, March 16, 2024 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
Sunday, March 17, 2024 – 9:00am to 4:30pm

Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved policy.

Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the Talking Union Basics, during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.
