Politics for Everyone – Virtual Version: Ontario Region – Full Course

POLITICS FOR EVERYONE examines how politics affects our daily lives. The course will help members engage in the political process and better explain its importance to others. Members will learn how to deconstruct / reconstruct governments and participate in building the type of society we want.
The course will be delivered over 2 separate days. Please read the dates and times carefully.
Session 1 – Friday, February 25, 2022 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Session 2 – Saturday, February 26, 2022 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
This course is best suited for participation on a computer (desktop or laptop). A mobile device can be used (tablet, cell phone) however the participant experience may be affected.
Upon successful completion of the course, member entitlement will be calculated as follows:
Per Diem: A per diem will be paid in accordance with the PSAC approved policy. The course is 12 hours of training and it must be completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued.
Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary will be paid for members attending the virtual Politics for Everyone during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course, and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.
