London RO: Talking Union Basics (Windsor In Person – September 7-8, 2025)

TALKING UNION BASICS introduces members to the PSAC, and prepares you for more advanced union education. It provides a historical and structural overview of the union, introduces participants to the collective agreement, and gives a chance for hands-on practice in problem-solving.
 
This course will be delivered in person for the duration of two days. Please read the dates and times carefully.

Dates:
Sunday, September 7, 2025 – 9:30am to 4:30pm
Monday, September 8, 2025 – 9:30am to 4:30pm

Location:
Holiday Inn Express Windsor Waterfront, an IHG Hotel
33 Riverside Dr E, Spire Room, Windsor, ON N9A 2S4

Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved policy.

Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the Talking Union Basics course during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.

The course will be limited to 20 participants. Approvals will be given on a “first come, first served” basis, so please register early to secure your spot.

All members represented by the London Regional Office and in good standing are welcome to register.
