Kingston RO: Duty to Accommodate (In Person – December 16, 2023)

Duty to Accommodate training is a must for Local Officers and other workplace representatives. You will learn what the law says about the Duty to Accommodate and how this law is applied in the workplace. These rights and our ability to enforce these rights have serious ramifications for the Members, the Union, and the Employer.

This course is open to all members in good standing in the Kingston Regional Office service area. Local Stewards are encouraged to apply.

This in-person course will be delivered on:

Saturday December 16, 2023 9:00am – 5:00pm

Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved PSAC policy. The course must be completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued.

Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the Duty to Accommodate course during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.

The course will be limited to 20 participants. Approvals will be given on a “first come, first served” basis, so please register early to secure your spot.
