London RO: Trans Rights and Inclusion at a Critical Moment (In Person – Fri May 17 2024)

Deepening our Understanding of Gender and Sexuality and Combatting the Rise of Organized Transphobia.

This one-day pilot course aims to help members understand the rise of organized transphobia which has grown rapidly in recent years spurred on by the emboldening of the far right and as part of a larger “Conservative Countermovement” against social progress.
The course will provide an introductory understanding around sexual and gender diversity, gender identities, gender expression and sexuality.

Friday, 17 May, 2024 – 9:30am to 4:30pm

Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved policy. The course must be attended and completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued.

Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the course Trans Rights and Inclusion at a Critical Moment, during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.

Please note, the Per Diem Policy will be in effect. Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved policy. The Course must be completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued.
