Ontario: Joint Labour Program Occupational Health & Safety Workshop for Committee Members (IN PERSON – 2025)
-
The Joint Learning Program (JLP) was established in 2001 as a collaborative initiative between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. This program represents a pioneering agreement in Canada where a bargaining agent and the employer jointly deliver learning activities through contract negotiations. The JLP’s funding and mandate are now embedded in collective agreements.
Objectives:
- Improve labour relations
- Deepen understanding of union and employer roles and responsibilities in the workplace
Participation:
All union members and management within the core public administration are eligible to participate in the JLP as organizers, facilitators, and participants.
