Commissionaires' Union of Peel Region

The Commissionaires Union of Peel Region is a directly chartered local Union of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). Our Local Union represents Commissionaires and employees of CoreII Security Inc. working at Lester B. Pearson International Airport.

Our members are proud of their past. The Corps was established as an employment agency to help enlisted men and women returning from active duty to find meaningful and dignified work. The Corps created a related company called CoreII security Inc. to employ civilian employees.

Our members joined PSAC to protect the future of our work. Since the signing of the Collective Agreement with the Commissionaires – Great Lakes, we have better working conditions and a say on promotions, health & safety issues and improved job security. We have come a long way, but will still have a distance to go.
