Make a Difference, become a PSAC Organizing Activist
Are you interested in helping non-unionized workers form a Union in their workplace? PSAC members, community activists and students are becoming PSAC organizing activists. The only requirement needed is an interest in seeing non-unionized workers achieve the benefits of Union representation, a demonstrated commitment to social justice and the ability to take leave from your workplace.
What type of person makes the best Organizing Activist?
Everyone has a contribution to make to an organizing campaign. Your involvement may include signing Union

cards, leafleting, developing communication tools or organizing campaign events.Organizing is a unique experience that helps members get involved in their Union and the broader labour movement. PSAC also offers training to activists who have shown an interest in organizing through: direct campaign experience supervised by |
the Regional Organizer, PSAC's own courses and through courses offered by the Canadian Labour Congress and Federations of Labour.

He will advise you of the campaigns that are currently underway in your region. Depending on your knowledge and experience you may either be identified as someone to assist in an ongoing campaign or be directed to upcoming training.
