The Toronto MDAC Held its First Forum!
On Saturday, October 2nd, 2010, the Toronto Members with Disabilities Access
Committee opened its door to all members in the Toronto area by hosting their
first Forum! The event was well received by 16 PSAC participants. Aileen
Duncan, retired PSAC member, Association of Public Service Alliance of Retirees (APSAR) Regional Vice-President for Ontario, opened the event with
her perspective on Stress and the ways we can manage to achieve balance and zen
by recognizing the key triggers. After a delicious lunch, the group
participated in massage therapy and yoga meditation. Souad Soubra, Chair of MDAC
invited all participants to join them in their next meeting.
