Northeastern Ontario (Region 2)

This one day conference was held in Sudbury. In attendance were 18 members from various locals throughout the N.E region. All participated in the Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) workshop on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), delivered by Garry Larouche, during the morning session, then benefited from the PSAC National Health & Safety Officer, Jeff Bennie’s presentation on the Federal Hazard Prevention Regulations during the afternoon. The Regional Representative/Health & Safety from the PSAC Toronto Regional Office, Brenda Shillington, provided an orientation session on the numerous resource materials provided at the conference.
The day was hosted by the PSAC Ontario Council Region 2 Geographic Representative, Steve Gauthier and the Regional Executive Vice- President for Ontario, Gerry Halabecki attended and welcomed the members to the conference.
