PSAC is continuing our childcare campaign in 2017. In September, the Ontario government announced a commitment to expand child care for 0-4 years olds in Ontario by 100,000 spaces – doubling existing spaces over 5 years.

As part of the process, the Ministry of Education is holding public town hall meetings in selected communities around Ontario. The next two sessions will be held in Kingston and London.

Child Care Town Hall Meetings:

London

Centennial Hall, 550 Wellington St., London, Ontario, N6A 3P9

Jan 23rd

7pm to 9pm

These are public sessions where you can have your say. You do not need to be an expert on child care policy. This is the place to share your experiences and call for a quality early learning and child care system that all families can afford and trust.

The Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care has a web page on the consultations including tips for making a presentation.  You can access this information here:

If you are able to attend, please advise the Political Communications Officer, Lino Vieira (vieiral@psac-afpc.com).
