Saturday & Sunday April 28 & 29th, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. On day one, participants will; look at power relationships and how they affect the workplace, identify ways of effectively working across diversity, identify elements that make up a respectful workplace, discuss what is needed in order to establish and maintain a more respectful workplace, and identify and practice skills and methods for dealing effectively with workplace conflict.

Saturday & Sunday April 14 & 15, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Registration Deadline: Friday-April 6th Introduces members to the PSAC and prepares them for more advanced union education. It provides an historical and structural overview of the union, introduces participants to the collective agreement and gives them a chance for hands-on practice in problem-solving. Open to: All members

Convention Prep & Procedures: Conventions are the supreme governing body for the union. It is the place where delegates elect their leadership, adopt budgets, and set priorities and policy for the next three years. This course is designed to assist members wanting to learn more about democratic participation at Convention.
